When you are producing a show, especially when the show first starts out, you want it to be as full as possible. One of the things we tend to do is hold for the audience to arrive. I say, try starting no more than 15 minutes of your scheduled time, especially if it’s a weekly show. I know that’s a lot to take in when you’ve invested time and money but in the long run, your audience will know that they had better get there on time because your show is about to start without them.

Bad weather, you can hold a little longer. Big event going on at the same time your show is going on, causing more than usual traffic, you can hold a little longer. But if only two people are in the audience, start your show.
